Today it is Sunday night at 9:30
Today we started out at 9:30. We went to the temple ward in the building we're staying at. Apparently this is where Alicia went to church on her mission. A little cool fun fact. After that we had some lunch and we took off! We went to Ngong Ping 360 Ngong Ping. It was mind blowing! At this place there is the biggest Buda you will ever see! You first start out by taking this 30 minuet cable cart ride up over the water. The view is incredible. I highly recommend anyone who goes to Hong Kong to dedicate a whole day to this place. After the ride you can see dragon dances which are so cool. You can do a little shopping. Jared picked out this book that has different coins from all the different dynasties there is one coin in there that is about 200 or 250 years old in it. One of the coolest things I've ever seen. So after the shopping you can grab some ice cream and start the 100 or so steps up to the top of the Buda. When we got up there it was like we were infinite. The world is at our feet and it's just waiting for us to explore it.
Once we got done up at the giant Buda we went to come monk temples and listend to them chant. Sing really I'm not sure what they we're doing. Can anyone tell me what a Monk does? When do you be come a monk? Are you born that way? What do monks do for fun? Do the girl monks shave their heads to?
We tried to take pictures where it says not to and the monks were coming. That's the picture you can see Jared's smiling but you can see the monk on the right side of the picture. Ha ha that was pretty funny! We sheepishly ran away and met back up with our group. Once we got there we say this super pretty Indian girl. Some girls went and talked to her. Apparently she is a famous Indian actor and her first name is Sara (Maybe Sarah) I'll post a picture and dad ask Am Irta is she know who she is. She was gorgeous though! So naturally looking for fame, the American girls got our picture with her.
After our photo shoot we went down the mountain. We rode all the way back to the other side of Hong Kong, grabbed a bite to eat again and went on a date. It's hard to find time to have a one on one conversation with Jared when we always have people taking to us or running into us, so it was nice to sit on some benches and chat. We saw a couple of rats run infront or by us and that was a little gross. After went home we went to a park and swang for a little bit. now we're resting up for our biggest day tomorrow. Let the adventures being!
