Today it is Sunday night at 9:30
Today we started out at 9:30. We went to the temple ward in the building we're staying at. Apparently this is where Alicia went to church on her mission. A little cool fun fact. After that we had some lunch and we took off! We went to Ngong Ping 360 Ngong Ping. It was mind blowing! At this place there is the biggest Buda you will ever see! You first start out by taking this 30 minuet cable cart ride up over the water. The view is incredible. I highly recommend anyone who goes to Hong Kong to dedicate a whole day to this place. After the ride you can see dragon dances which are so cool. You can do a little shopping. Jared picked out this book that has different coins from all the different dynasties there is one coin in there that is about 200 or 250 years old in it. One of the coolest things I've ever seen. So after the shopping you can grab some ice cream and start the 100 or so steps up to the top of the Buda. When we got up there it was like we were infinite. The world is at our feet and it's just waiting for us to explore it.
Once we got done up at the giant Buda we went to come monk temples and listend to them chant. Sing really I'm not sure what they we're doing. Can anyone tell me what a Monk does? When do you be come a monk? Are you born that way? What do monks do for fun? Do the girl monks shave their heads to?
We tried to take pictures where it says not to and the monks were coming. That's the picture you can see Jared's smiling but you can see the monk on the right side of the picture. Ha ha that was pretty funny! We sheepishly ran away and met back up with our group. Once we got there we say this super pretty Indian girl. Some girls went and talked to her. Apparently she is a famous Indian actor and her first name is Sara (Maybe Sarah) I'll post a picture and dad ask Am Irta is she know who she is. She was gorgeous though! So naturally looking for fame, the American girls got our picture with her.
After our photo shoot we went down the mountain. We rode all the way back to the other side of Hong Kong, grabbed a bite to eat again and went on a date. It's hard to find time to have a one on one conversation with Jared when we always have people taking to us or running into us, so it was nice to sit on some benches and chat. We saw a couple of rats run infront or by us and that was a little gross. After went home we went to a park and swang for a little bit. now we're resting up for our biggest day tomorrow. Let the adventures being!
Please feel free to comment below and tell us what you like and don't like about the posts. If you want more details about what we saw or you think I should change anything just let us know. Be nice, but tell us what you guys want to hear.

Bucketlist. Check
This morning Jared and I went to the Hong Kong Temple and it was so amazing! We were able to do everything is English but we listened to it in Chinese too. It was a really cool thing to do.
It's amazing how many different bucket list things we can cross off. 1. Move FAR FAR away from Rexburg. Check. 2. Spend six months in a foreign country. Check. 3. Go to five exotic temples. One check.
Ok so today we went to a place called Victoria's Peak. You ride this tram that was built over 100 years ago, and then you ride up a mountain and you look and you see thick jungle then the next second you see a huge city! It was so windy up there, but the view was incredible! I had never seen anything like it! In the kissing pictures you can see there was a giant heart and you can write a love note to someone and leave it up there. It's called "Say I Love You At The Peak". So naturally us love birds wrote notes, kissed, slow danced, and talked about how our relationship is going right now. (We love it, we wouldn't change anything about what we have)
The Peak was the main thing we did. We went as a group and after that we went to eat dinner in the city. This means it's just a little street corner. I liked what I got, which was shrimp dumplings. Jared got beef something and he didn't like his as much. We might not starve but we'll defiantly loose a lot of weight! After dinner we walked around the market and we bought some Hong Kong nail clipper key chains. We also got some sweet Passport books. Everyone you should be proud because I only bought thoses two things! Today was just full of adventure and exciting memories we'll never forget, but now we're exhausted and heading off to bed! Love you! Sweet dreams!

I ate my first meal in Asia at a McDonalds
It's Friday 9:05 PM right now
So Jared and I arrived in Hong Kong! We exchanged money and got on some busses with the other 30+ people who are with us. The drivers are crazier then Guatemalan drivers. I closed my eyes more on these two story busses than any other car ride I've ever taken! We are staying in "Temple Housing". Which is a were those who travel long distances to visit the temple stay. This is the first time ever, that they are letting any one stay longer than one day. We get to stay here the whole weekend. I have mixed feeling about staying here. Boys and Girls cannot stay here. Instead you sleep in a broom closet with four bunk beds in it. It's hard to not sleep with Jared, because I've just gotten so use to it. I'm just glad I'm not one of the three or so, people who are married, but choose to leave their spouse at home for six months.
After getting to temple housing we were shown to the grocery store and to the biggest mall I've ever seen. I thought I was in heaven till I realized if I bought more than three things there we wouldn't have any more money for the entire trip... I did how ever pay for a very tasty meal. Our first meal in Hong Kong was purchased at McDonalds. I came to the other half of the world to be adventurous and I ate at McDonalds. What a shame.
Just right now I saw a girl use the bathroom and not wash her hands!!!!! Is this a common thing or is it just her? Please someone reply, and please tell me they wash their hands!!!!!
Back to the post, We got had to wait in lines for ever so we missed the four a'clock session. We are hopefully going to make it to the seven AM one tomorrow morning. If we don't we have four others times to go tomorrow. Now it is just time to catch up one some sleep and really get ready for this adventure! Good night everyone!

Well we're here in Korea just waiting to get on our next flight to Hong Kong. While we're there for three days we will go the the Hong Kong temple,Go to Victoria Peak, Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car to Giant Buddha Monastery, 1,000 Buddha Monastery, Hong kong Museum of History, Star Ferry, and Symphony of Lights Laser Show. We will then Travel to Shenzhen for two more days then fly to Luoyang. While on the plane I (Leslie) got to try two Korean dishes while Jared slept. Luckily we packed some "Dream Sleep" shots and so the 13 and a half hours on that plane weren't as bad as it could have been. However, back to the food, lets just say I think we'll be lossing ALOT of weight while I'm over there!!!! I almost started crying when I tried, traditional Asian food. Good thing we pack a 5 pound bag of Peanut M&Ms. With over 10 pounds of other types of Junk food! Wish us luck! Maybe send us some good food. We only have about 6-7 more hours of travel and we'll be settled in, in Hong Kong! Love you all!

Let the adventure begin!
After much anticipation, Leslie and I are off to start a new adventure! As I write this, we are sitting in the Las Vegas airport eagerly awaiting our flight to Korea. We lost a few dollars on the slot machines, grabbed a bite to eat and are now playing a high-intensity version of Face 10 with some new friends in the Korean Airlines terminal. Following a 13 hour flight to Korea, we head on another plane to Hong Kong where we will be touring for the next week. After that, we will fly out to Luyoang where we will begin our new job teaching English classes. Life is awesome, we love you all!
